Hole 13
The second highest handicapped hole on the course is the par 5 thirteenth, but that does not mean it is without its challenges. Two deep bunkers protect each side of the fairway in the landing area off the tee, but if you carry the hill between them, you can set up a good opportunity to go for the green in two. Two more bunkers protect the ideal approach area, and a third protects the front left of the green to discourage players from being too aggressive. This large green has a shelf on the back right that makes it very difficult to hold longer shots at the pin.
- Pro Tip -
"For long hitters, this is a reachable par 5, so aim down the middle of the fairway between the two fairway bunkers. On your approach to the green, favor the front right side. This not only provides a good chance for a birdie but also allows your ball to take advantage of the slope. Shots that miss right will typically kick left. Be cautious of the back tier, which has a lot of slope and can lead to tricky putts. "
